Enhanced Vocational Education and Training (EVENT) Project

Short Description

The Government of Nepal and the International Development Association have entered into the Financing Agreement of the Enhanced Vocational Education and Training Project (EVENT Project) on 30 June, 2011.The Project is being implemented by the four year “EVENT Project” through a Project Secreteriat (“PS”)under the Ministry of Education (MOE),the Government of Nepal (GON).The main objective of “EVENT Project” is to expand the supply of skilled and employable workforce by increasing access to quality training programs, and by strengthening the technical and vocational education and training systems in Nepal.

Achievement

Trained more than 900 trainees in different occupations.
